Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apples, peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 package Puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 large Egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
