Apple Turnovers Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Apples, peeled and diced
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 package Puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 1 large Egg, beaten for egg wash
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.
Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
Place the turnovers on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
