Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 3 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.
  2. 2. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly.
  4. 4. Add potatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. 5. Stir in cooked chicken and milk. Heat through.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
