Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 8 slices Prosciutto
  • 8 leaves Sage fresh
  • ½ cup White wine
  • ½ cup Chicken broth low sodium
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Place a sage leaf on each piece of chicken, then wrap each with a slice of prosciutto.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Add white wine to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in butter and cook until melted. Serve the chicken with the sauce spooned over the top.
