  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together cocoa powder and sugar.
  2. Add water and salt, and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Let cool before transferring to a container. Store in the refrigerator.
