Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Bamboo shoots, julienned
  • ¼ cup Rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 scallions Scallions, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in rice vinegar, soy sauce, chili paste, and white pepper.
  4. 4. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until the soup thickens.
  5. 5. Slowly pour in the beaten eggs while stirring the soup.
  6. 6. Drizzle sesame oil and garnish with chopped scallions before serving.
