Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 Green Plantains peeled and sliced lengthwise
  • 1 lb Steak thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Cheese your choice
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 large Tomato sliced
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Fry the plantain slices until golden brown, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. 3. Flatten the fried plantains using a plate or a flat surface.
  4. 4. Fry the flattened plantains again until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  5. 5. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook in the frying pan until done to your liking.
  6. 6. Assemble the sandwich by placing the steak, cheese, lettuce, and tomato between two fried plantain slices.
  7. 7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
