Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 green plantains peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup pork cracklings
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • to taste salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Fry the plantains until golden and tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove the plantains from the pan and place them in a mortar.
  4. 4. Add the minced garlic and pork cracklings to the plantains.
  5. 5. Mash everything together until well combined. Add salt to taste.
  6. 6. Serve hot as a side dish or main course.
