Mofongo Recipe
A traditional Puerto Rican dish made with fried plantains, garlic, and pork cracklings.

Main Ingredients
- 4 green plantains peeled and sliced
- ½ cup pork cracklings
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- to taste salt
1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
2. Fry the plantains until golden and tender, about 10-15 minutes.
3. Remove the plantains from the pan and place them in a mortar.
4. Add the minced garlic and pork cracklings to the plantains.
5. Mash everything together until well combined. Add salt to taste.
6. Serve hot as a side dish or main course.
