Batter Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1 cup milk
 - 1 large egg
 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - ½ teaspoon paprika
 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
 - 2 large onions sliced into rings
 - as needed vegetable oil for frying

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, egg, baking powder, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until smooth.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
Dip the onion rings into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated.
Carefully place the battered onion rings into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove the onion rings from the oil using tongs and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
