  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Grease a baking dish and place half of the bread cubes in the dish. Sprinkle with blueberries and top with remaining bread cubes.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Pour over the bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
  3. 3. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. 4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the French toast, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  5. 5. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
