Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water warm

Filling

  • 2 cups Mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Butter melted

Instructions 

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and knead until dough is smooth.
  3. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on each circle and fold over, sealing edges.
  5. Boil perogies in salted water until they float.
  6. Fry boiled perogies in butter until golden brown.
