Ingredients 

Meatballs

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ cup Uncooked White Rice
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Sauce

  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, rice, beaten egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. In a large skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together tomato sauce, water, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatballs in the skillet.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the rice is tender.
