Ingredients

  • 2 cups Masa Harina
  • 1.5 cups Warm Water
  • 1 cup Refried Beans
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine masa harina and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll them into balls.
  3. Flatten each ball into a disc, place a spoonful of refried beans and cheese in the center, and fold the edges over to seal.
  4. Flatten the stuffed dough balls gently to form thick tortillas.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the pupusas for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
