Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts pounded thin
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 pieces Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 pieces Sandwich rolls split
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomato sliced
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pound the chicken breasts until thin.
  2. 2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  3. 3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. 6. Assemble the sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on the rolls, then adding lettuce, tomato, and the schnitzel.
