Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Pepperoni sliced
  • 1 Egg beaten, for egg wash

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Layer the pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  6. Roll up the dough tightly from one long side to the other, like a jelly roll. Pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Place the Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
