Ingredients

  • 4 Green Bell Peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, ground beef, half of the tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each green pepper with the mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
