Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 8 Tortillas
  • 1 Avocado, sliced
  • 1 Lime, cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
  2. 2. Boil the hibiscus flowers in a pot of water for about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  4. 4. Add the cooked hibiscus flowers, cumin, paprika, and salt. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  6. 6. Assemble the tacos by placing the hibiscus mixture on the tortillas. Top with avocado slices and a squeeze of lime.
