- 2 cups Dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 8 Tortillas
- 1 Avocado, sliced
- 1 Lime, cut into wedges
1. Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
2. Boil the hibiscus flowers in a pot of water for about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
4. Add the cooked hibiscus flowers, cumin, paprika, and salt. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
6. Assemble the tacos by placing the hibiscus mixture on the tortillas. Top with avocado slices and a squeeze of lime.
