Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Unsalted butter
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Chopped nuts (optional)
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir constantly until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
