Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes halved
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup fresh basil chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook until they start to soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet. Toss to combine with the tomatoes and garlic.
  5. 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped fresh basil.
  6. 6. Serve the pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
