Traditional Maritime Hodge Podge
A hearty and traditional Maritime dish made with fresh vegetables and cream.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups new potatoes halved
- 2 cups carrots sliced
- 2 cups green beans trimmed
- 2 cups peas fresh or frozen
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
2. Add the potatoes and carrots. Cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Add the green beans and peas. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until all vegetables are tender.
4. Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
5. Add the butter, cream, and milk. Stir gently to combine.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
